Job Description

IMS is a Woman-Owned, 8a certified small business is seeking Open Enrollment Regional Coordinators to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) assisting in Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment.

The following states we are hiring for: Virginia, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, Texas, Florida.

We are seeking “Boots-On-The-Ground Community Engagement” Coordinators starting on November 1, 2022 – January 17, 2023 during the Open Enrollment Period.

Qualifications:

  • Provide post event metrics after each event.
  • Conduct “boots-on-the-ground” community engagement
  • Promote, enhance, and reinforce messaging, outreach, and engagement with national, regional, and local community centric partners specific to the upcoming Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment period
  • Use only promotional materials prepared by and/or approved by CMS and develop “event-in-a-box” which will be supplied by CMS or the community organization
  • Develop a detailed community engagement strategy/plan for your state that CMS identifies as needing boots on the ground engagement
  • Community engagement shall include working with CMS regional office staff, Navigator grantees, and identified community groups to identify populations who might not know about the Health Insurance Marketplaces Open Enrollment
  • Drive program awareness and capacity development in identified region
  • Identify and carry out marketing and outreach activities that directly impact the goals of the Open Enrollment Campaign
  • Participate in community events, manage learning fairs, and network with community stakeholders to bring awareness and drive program participation
  • Ability to work with Program Manager or provide open enrollment data if needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passion and desire to encourage healthy lifestyles
  • Experience working with open enrollment
  • Effective community engagement and customer service experience
  • Must possess strong human relations skills to communicate and work effectively within a culturally diverse work environment and community
  • Ability to travel to events
  • Experience in public speaking and community leadership to influence and network with target populations
  • Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools
  • Requires the ability to work independently, organize and prioritize responsibly

Location: Remote Office Requirement with travel to local events in your assigned city/state

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Open Enrollment Campaign Period 11/1/22 - 01/15/23

Salary: Up to $25.00 an hour
